Meet The Team

Bailey is the first smiling face to greet you at Fountainhead Dentistry! Bailey is currently working at the front desk, but she also is a certified dental assistant with an active radiology license. She graduated from University of Maryland Global Campus with a Bachelor’s of Science in 2022.

Bailey is close with her family and loves being an aunt to her adorable nieces and nephews! In her spare time, you can find her relaxing with her husband and dog.

Lisa started working for Dr. Allan Seidman in January 1990 as his dental assistant. Over the past thirty years, Lisa has been an integral member of the Fountainhead Dentistry team.

She is a 1984 graduate of North Hagerstown High and the Career Studies Center. As a young mother, she took some time off from work, and after the birth of her second child in 1993 she returned to Fountainhead Dentistry to become a patient care coordinator. Lisa says she has loved working here because everyone has been right by her side and supported her through the happiest and also most devastating times in her life.

In her free time, she enjoys playing bingo and loves watching the New York Yankees! Her greatest joy is watching her three children grow into adults and having their dreams come true.

Sherry has been one of our dedicated Patient Coordinators since 2016! She is a Hagerstown native and graduated from North Hagerstown High School. She and her husband have four children, who have in turn blessed them with six grandchildren. She also has an adorable furbaby named Maddie!

Sherry and her husband enjoy antiquing and spending time in their new forever home. In the summer you will find her gardening in her new yard!

 Dr. Caroline Kim was born and raised in Seoul, South Korea, and earned her bachelor’s degree in International Relations with a focus on Health Policy from Georgetown University. She later attended the University of Maryland School of Dentistry, where she served as president of the prosthodontics honors society and held leadership roles in the American Student Dental Association. Dr. Kim completed a post-graduate residency at ChristianaCare Hospital in Wilmington, Delaware, receiving advanced training in oral surgery, implant restorations, pediatric dentistry, and emergency care.

Alisa has been working at Fountainhead Dentistry as a hygienist for 25 years! She is a graduate of North Hagerstown High School and completed hygiene school at Allegany College of Maryland. Alisa is a Hagerstown native and has known many of our patients since she was a kid! When you have an appointment with Alisa, you’ll be laughing so much you’ll forget you’re getting your teeth cleaned! She makes dental visits fun and always remembers details about your life. Alisa is a proud mom to two sons, Aaron and Logan, who are now both working in the tech industry. She loves spending her days with her husband Todd, and her gigantic puppy, Otis (180lbs!). When she’s not busy, you can catch her reading or watching crime shows.

Shannon is a 2002 graduate of Allegany College of Maryland and has been practicing dental hygiene for 22 years! She became interested in the career due to its preventative nature. She enjoys establishing relationships with patients and helping them keep their smiles healthy by preventing gum disease.

In her spare time she can be found reading, scrapbooking, walking the C&O towpath, or spending time with her family and her cat, Olivia.

Brittany has been assisting with Fountainhead Dentistry since September 2023. She completed her oral radiology certification through the Maryland State Dental Association and is a Pennsylvania State University alum. In her free time Britt enjoys reading, concerts, exercising, and spending time with her pets Ulrik and Kensington.

Dr. Melanie Newman is a native of Miami, Florida and a graduate of the Dade County Public Schools. Dr. Newman attended and graduated from the University of Maryland at College Park with a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree. Her post–graduate and professional studies commenced at the Baltimore College of Dental Surgery at the University of Maryland where she was awarded her Doctorate in Dental Surgery. Following her graduation from Dental School, Dr. Newman entered private practice in New York City.

Jackie has been a part of the Fountainhead Dentistry team for over 30 years! She is beloved by all of our patients and her kindness and empathy have helped to shape the values of our practice over the years.

Jackie graduated from Allegany Community College in 1993 as a Registered Dental Hygienist and began working at the practice that same year. She loves working with children and special needs patients. Jackie feels blessed spending her workdays with caring coworkers and amazing patients. Her free time is devoted to her loving family.

Angi has been a Dental Assistant for 27 years, over 20 of which have been at Fountainhead Dentistry! Her training began at Hagerstown Community College, after which she became DANB certified and has since acquired numerous other certifications. While Pediatrics is her speciality of choice, she also has experience working in Oral Surgery, Adult, and Cosmetic Dentistry.

Often children are afraid of the dentist, and Angi always takes extra time to communicate with them and make them feel better with her funny conversation, finding a good TV show to distract them, or comforting them by playing with stuffed animals. Angi says that the most rewarding part of her job is having a child return for a second visit excited and with a smile on their face. Then she knows she has made a positive impact on their life. Angi is a mother of two, and credits a lot of her communication abilities and patience to her experience in parenting.

In her spare time she enjoys playing board games with her family and attending Victory Baptist Church. She also makes sure she spends as much time as she can with her grandbabies!
